Our story

In  the early 1980's, AIDS was devastating the LGBTQ community by financial ruin and ending many lives too early. Concerned individuals began buying and distributing food to people from the trunks of their cars. The effort grew to become what we now know as Martha's Pantry. We welcome all.

Our clients have the opportunity to choose from lists of food and additional household items, such as:

* A variety of personal hygiene and toiletry items

* Donated clothing and other household items

* Paper and plastic goods

* Pet food and toys

* Household cleaning products.

We are members of the Clark County and Oregon Food Banks, Northwest Harvest and receive generous help from our many friends.
