Welcome to Martha’s Pantry

Founded in 1986 as an outreach of the Metropolitan Community Church of the Gentle Shepherd, Martha’s Pantry is the only non-government agency in Southwest Washington serving those living with HIV and AIDS.

WHAT WE DO

We Help People in Need

Martha’s Pantry provides food for 30-40 client families each month, and distributes personal hygiene items, household cleaning supplies, pet food, food preparation and storage items, as well as clothing and household items donated to the pantry.

Our Resources

The pantry is an all-volunteer organization funded entirely by donations and grants.
Over 97% of our income is used to directly serve the clients.

Nobody is turned away

Over the past several years, Martha’s Pantry has begun serving not only the HIV/AIDS community but the overall community in need of assistance.

Safe + EASY DONATIONS

In Partnership With Friends

Martha’s Pantry has formed a partnership with the Metropolitan Community Church of the Gentle Shepherd and Vancouver United Church of Christ who all share space within the UCC building.

Some of our partners

Martha’s Pantry, Michele’s Closet, and MCC share space on the lower level, and the UCC is on the upper level. We all work together in community and partnership to assist our friends in the greater community.
